It’s Planting Season…

Proverbs 11:24-25 ESV

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”

When we give (of ourselves) God increases our capacity to give. When we are afraid to uninspired to give – in any capacity, we are always in a state of want or need. This is just a law of God.

We are all dealt a measure of faith and given instruction to increase and grow our faith.

The only way to do this is to exercise the faith we do have. This sparks our understanding that the word of God is true and real. Then we are to read the word of God, to obtain more. Faith cometh by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Trouble comes to test (or prove) our faith. This is the cycle of the believer. We are to grow from faith to faith, glory to glory. Ever increasing. (Romans 1:17, 2 Corinthians 3:16-18).

So we must plant some seeds of faith. We must give of our selves in faith. Taking actions that bring glory to God.

Sometimes we see immediate results of our faith. Most of the time we have to patiently wait (this is where the faith kicks in). We must stand on it as if it has already happened, even when everything we see with our eyes tells a different story.

But plant those seeds of faith regardless. Why? Because whatever we sow, we shall also reap. This is a natural law we see in nature every day. It is also a spiritual law that we see – every day. We just don’t always recognize it as such.

Trust what God has said, and do what he has given you to do. The seeds are in your hands and it is up to you to decide what to do with them. My advice – plant them, don’t hide them. Your faith determines God ability to add blessings to your life.

It’s Planting Season…

Have a blessed day!
