But God, But Now

Ephesians 2:4, 5, 13

4. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;).

13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”

When I think of the times before I came to know God. Or even the times after, when I have sinned against him, I wonder “how?” Considering all the wrong I have done, how can he still love me, how can he still forgive me, how can he still desire to use me for his glory, how can he still trust me to do his will. The “how” list is endles. The answer is simple…But God, who is… He is rich in mercy, he knows my thoughts a far off (Psalms 139:2). His word is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrew 4:12). God knew me even when I did know him. He knows my faults, issues, failures, lustful desires, etc. In spite of them all, he still loves me, and wants the best for me (Jeremiah 29:11).

Through the marvelous, wonderful work of Calvary’s cross, Jesus made a way. Because of this….But Now, God has made it possible of us to be forgiven and brought into right standing with him. Because of his goodness we can be used to bring glory to his name.

I thank God that it is never too late. As long as there is still breath in the body, God is still able to breathe life into dead or death situations. He has done it for me multiples, he can do it for anyone who will believe him to do so. We don’t use his grace as a get-out-of-jail-free card. We don’t plan to fall. But if or when we do, God is there to forgive. Our goal is to live a life that is pleasing in his eyes.

Be encouraged. Do not let your past determine your future. Remember God has a plan for your life. Seek him to uncover it.

Power Is In Your Mouth

Use it to speak the Word…

Definitions: Salvation – preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss.
Save – keep safe or rescue (someone or something) from harm or danger.

Romans 10: 8-11
“8. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
11. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
12. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

The words of life is in your mouth. What you speak is what you create in your world.
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus (or the word of God. See St. John chapter 1). Believe in your heart, the power of the word (the power of the cross), thou shall be rescued from harm, danger, ruin, or loss.
Whatever is in your heart, will come out of your mouth. When faith comes out your mouth, your world is created.
We have confidence in our savior, and know we have the petitions we desired.

It truly is your world (life). Speak life, not death over it. Speak success, speak love, speak patience, speak abundance. What you say matters, because it portrays what is in your heart. Ultimately, you will have what you say.

Blessings to you.

No Fear, Only Faith

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

The world wants to keep us wrapped up in fear, because fear immobilizes. But God has removed fear from us, and gave us faith through love instead.

Why? So we can soar like the eagle and accomplish the things he has given us to do.

Move forward in faith toward your Godly goals. There is both provision and success in store for you.

No fear, only faith. Keep moving. No longer be immobilized with fear. You can do it because God gave the assignment to you alone.
