Take Comfort

Isaiah 46:9-19

“9. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ”

It is good to know that before your trouble hit you, God had already declared its ending. We can take comfort in knowing not only will God put more on me than I am able to bear, but he also determined it’s ending.

God is in control.

Never doubt that he holds your times in his hand. We should have that Psalms 91 experience “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:

my God; in him will I trust. ” No matter how intense your trouble becomes, do not leave the secret place. For in there is your protection and strength.

Remember your trouble is designed to make you stronger and draw you closer to God.

Take comfort and know that God is in control.

All of those sayings (cliches) you’ve heard are true. Don’t give up, don’t give in. Keep standing in faith and declaring the word of God. Fight the Good fight of faith.

Just know that you have come too far not to win. It would be a shame if you give up before you finished the test. Get out of your feelings, develop a thick skin, and hold your head up. God made you victorious, you must believe it and start to act like it.

Take comfort and know that God is in control.

Have a blessed night.
